The liquid diesel/biodiesel/veg oil inject is kept on at idle, and syngas is variably metered in the air inlet as the throttle. We've made a separate electronic speed control, which takes the 60cycle signal via a standard 120vac plug on the genhead, and controls a a servo which turns a butterfly built into a 1.5" pipe nipple. At some point in winter 09, we will offer the design and/or kits for building/buying this skid. Same goes for the electroinc speed control kit. The speed control and butterfly kit can also be used on a Lister diesel genset. See here for the GEK running a Lister 6/1 genset, but using the standard manual governor to control the butterfly. |
